We are kicking off this July with Super Summer Adventure...Home Edition!

This July, Super Summer Adventure is coming to a home near you...maybe even your own backyard! Bible clubs will be hosted in area homes making this a great opportunity for the entire church to “engage the city”. There is a role for everyone, whether it's hosting a club at your home, being a team member or participating in a group and inviting your unchurched neighbors and friends to go with you.

Some ways to get involved:

Host home – Hospitality is your style! Offer your yard as a club location for your community. Townhouses, condos and apartments are welcome too!

Team Member – Help lead a club by playing games, doing crafts and sharing the Bible with local kids.

Club Participant – bring your family and unchurched friends to a club in your area.

Whatever your role, there is a place for you to engage your community with Super Summer Adventure – Home Edition! Just click the links above to find out more, or email us at: ssahe@pray.org

FAQs

What if I don’t have any children in my home or neighborhood?

There are many ways to participate in this outreach. Just because you don’t have any children in your home doesn’t mean you can’t host. If you have any friends that have children, simply invite them and their families. You could also help out at a club as a hospitality volunteer. You would be there to assist the host by talking to some of the parents that com to the club or helping the host set up or serve snack. There are also needs for Team Leaders and members to run the clubs. This opportunity is open to youth, as well.

I don’t have a big yard. What exactly is needed to host?

A small yard is fine, too. Children will not be going inside the house, so the size of your home doesn’t matter. You will need a table to use for registration of the kids. You would provide hospitality to the parents that are staying during the club and serve a drink to the kids during snack-time (snack provided). It is perfectly fine to serve water.

What time of day are the clubs?

Each club is different. The time and days of the club are determined by the host. If you are interested in helping to run a club, you can make a note of your available times when you express your interest and we can match you up with an appropriate club.
